Today Year 5 from Wellesley College went to Zealandia. We got to wear mufti which was a good change from usual. I got to take lots of photos but most of them were horrible.
I saw loads of birds, tuatara, weta, cicadas and beetles. So it was really good learning! I heard loads of birds songs, so many I could barely hear someone when they were talking! “Wow” I said to the person next to me, but he did not react, so I thought that either he was not in the talking mood, or he could not hear me!!!
I felt the water splashing against me as I counted the stuff we found in the stream. We found four worms, 1 spider and some others I cannot remember the name of. So all together we got 9 creatures!
I loved the Zealandia trip… mostly.
